The Palaver Tree Tradition
In many West African communities, including Liberia, the palaver tree is a cultural tradition where community members gather beneath a large shade tree, such as a baobab, to discuss community issues, share stories, resolve conflicts, and pass down knowledge. I wanted to create this podcast to reflect that same spirit, creating a place where people could come together, collaborate, learn from one another, and explore ideas that could protect our environment.
